The Group Study Exchange to UK was a life-changing experience for me. One of the most valuable things I took away from this trip was the importance of fostering international relationships in order to collaborate on achieving a more sustainable balance in how we live on this earth. I am sincerely grateful to The Rotary Foundation for the opportunity to immerse myself in UK culture and vocational opportunities.

Certainly the highlight of the whole GSE experience for me was forgoing what I hope will be lifelong friendships with our UK hosts and my GSE team members. Ultimately, the GSE’s pace was exhausting. We worked very, very hard, but we also had a ton of fun in the process. We met scores of incredibly wonderful people, and we never stopped learning for a moment. This is what I think Rotary is all about.
